  • I just got a £9 off £60 spend voucher and 5 more for £6 off £60. I live with my parents so if I'm not going to spend the amount myself (which I rarely do) then my mum uses the voucher and I put my stuff through with hers to put the spend up then she gives me some of the saving. Sometimes she says that she won't spend that amount but I just remind her that she wouldn't be spending £60, she'd just be getting £60 worth of products for £51 and even less if she buys things using vouchers or I put my stuff through with hers, she can buy plenty of stuff for the store cupboard to bulk the spend up.

I only spend that amount of money when double up's on and I'm buying presents for Christmas or birthdays so it's much better to give it to her.

Vouchers are designed to encourage you to spend more, or shop there more often. If you are already doing your weekly shop there and spending £100 there is no point in them trying to encourage you to buy more/shop more often.

As has already been said, try not shopping there for a while, and they'll have a good reason to send you vouchers.

I did give up with Tesco for a while and changed to Asda and then when I went back to Tesco I did it in my OH name so I 'technically' havent shopped with Tesco for 6 months........still no vouchers

The max I have had is £3 off a £20 with Mr T - nearly impossible for me unless I buy a load of stuff I don't need / won't use for months.

    I got £9 off £90 spends.
Only me and my husband so we just don't need to spend that much and there is just so much stocking up on things you can do :rotfl:.
My vouchers went in the bin too.

I had some £2 off £20 last month which luckily coincided with their Whiskas Simply 2 for £6 offer (usually £3.99 each). We have enough cat food to last him a few weeks now! Just hope he doesn't go off Simply.
    :D I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe :D

I have found that if you stop shopping at Tesco's for a while they they send you a sheet of weekly money off vouchers to tempt you back whereas if you shop there every week they don't send any.

We usually do our main shop at Morrison's on a Friday but 'top up' on a Sunday at our local Tesco Extra with fresh stuff to use for the rest of the week.

The Sunday spend always seems to be around £20 - £25 and we frequently get till spits for £4 discount on a £30 spend.

On occasions we do our full weeks shopping at Tesco and I wonder if their system flags up that our spend has reduced when we use Morrison's??

Mr T works in mysterious ways methinks!

These vouchers are based on average spend. So these people that moan that they get £7 off £70, when they only spend £20 a week, may have bought a huge shop or something expensive such as a TV in the store. It has happened to me with Nectar as I did get triple points on £70 shop vouchers. I live alone and one day, I did spend £315 on a games console, games, clothing, booze, kitchen stuff and food. After a while, it dropped to £50. Now I get double nectar point coupons instead.

Then I get regular customers that flutter between £40 and £50. Its always when they have a £50 voucher, either for extra points or money off, they spend £40!

If your OH lives with you then i think they might base it on addresses....

If you don't shop there for a while you do get voucehrs if you shop there all the time then you won't and like someone else said i believe it works that you vouchers according to your spend.

Sainsburys are always sending me vouchers even though i have no Sainsburys in the region until next month but i shall be using the next lot.

Though you could argue Asda haven't done any vouchers and they don't have any loyalty schemes let alone 3x the value so it's a bonus the other Supermarkets are...

I couldn't believe when a customer handed me over his 1p voucher! I would be ashamed to use such a voucher. These coupons varied from 1p to £100. The biggest value I saw was £5.41.
