I couldn't believe when a customer handed me over his 1p voucher! I would be ashamed to use such a voucher. These coupons varied from 1p to £100. The biggest value I saw was £5.41.

My 3p one went in the bin! I had half a mind to use it for a laugh but decided against it.

    I got £9 off £90 spends.
Only me and my husband so we just don't need to spend that much and there is just so much stocking up on things you can do :rotfl:.
My vouchers went in the bin too.

I agree £90 is quite a high amount to spend. Don't dismiss the joy of using money off coupons (mocs) which will enhance your savings. There is a wonderful up-to-date printable coupons thread on "discount codes & vouchers". For example if you like Spam on FB you can get a voucher for a free can of spam (and it prints 2) worth £1.76 each. There are also lots of useful vouchers on supersavvyme.co.uk.

I had to lie down in a darkened room thinking about your vouchers in the bin , they would have warmed the cockles of my heart, lol.

I had some £2 off £20 last month which luckily coincided with their Whiskas Simply 2 for £6 offer (usually £3.99 each). We have enough cat food to last him a few weeks now! Just hope he doesn't go off Simply.

    http://www.whiskas.co.uk/coupons/AdultPouch50.aspx

allows you (if you sign up first to the kitten page) to print 2 vouchers worth £1.93 each against any whiskas adult pouch boxes. Ive used two today in Sainsburys where regular whiskas is on offer at 2 for £5 so each box only cost 50p.

Using money off coupons combined with conditional spend vouchers really means you get maximum value for money. Over on the coupon thread it is everyone's goal to coupon/offer combine. I do hope you get a chance to try coupons for yourself, you'll be quickly hooked.

I rarely get any useful conditional spend vouchers from Tesco either in the post with my statement or thrown out by the till. Ive wombled a few.

Don't forget also that it is Tesco national policy to accept Sainsburys conditional spend vouchers. You can also combine, SA willing, various conditional spend - for example yesterday I used the £5 wys £40 in Morrisons from the sunday mirror and a Sainsburys £4 wys £20 (wombled) = (total £9) in Tesco along with other appropriate mocs bring my total shop of £61 down to around £15. That shop also generated for me a small price guarantee voucher to come back from Tesco which I will use against my next shop.

On the latest Tesco petrol promotion "deals" at least two items, Nescafe and Nescafe Gold Blend 300g are 1.38 and .50 cheaper in Asda, sizes for other items may not be directly comparable. I also noticed that in at least one Tesco filling station petrol was about 5p dearer than in that of a local rival supermarket. With petrol prices changing so rapidly at present I wonder if this is a deliberate policy to be seen to be giving with one hand but in fact keeping the price artificially high on the assumption that few people will notice?

Just chuck a few bottles of malt whisky in your basket to make the total up to £70 or whatever, use the voucher, get the discount, and return them to the store for a refund!

Can I clarify if i'm a heavy shopper (I believe we are).

We on average collect 4000point sa quater between the 2 of us...

Due to this use, we never get anything to entice us as we are so regular?

I have found that if you stop shopping at Tesco's for a while they they send you a sheet of weekly money off vouchers to tempt you back whereas if you shop there every week they don't send any.

Or have two clubcards and alternate each month which one you use.

Be careful OP about donating them to your friend. Our Tesco seems very hot on making sure your Clubcard matches the details on the vouchers recently. If your friend wants to use them she will need to borrow your Clubcard and pretend to be you!

If you have an iphone, you can install the tesco clubcard app, then put whatever clubcard number you like into it....

Me too, if all your points come from grocery shopping.

OK, you get two point for every pound you spend, so you are spending £2000 per quarter.

That's £666 per month, or £154 per week (13 weeks in a quarter).

Tesco won't give you anything to encourage you to spend more. They will think you are spending as much as you can anyway.

If there are only two of you, they will know about it. They will know, if you are a couple, that you never buy "Children's items" so have no kids.

If you are a single mum with one child, they will know about it because you don't buy adult male products. Same if you are a single dad, you won't be buying adult female products.

They will have analysed your "profile" and decided you are doing all your shopping at Tescos, so no need to give you anything.

They only give you something when they can see you are shopping at another store. Because they want you to do all your shopping at tesco.

I got £9 off a £90 spend. As if there was a chance of that being single so all wasted. The latest one of £4 off a £30 spend is pushing it unless I need something electrical.

My daughter shops in Tesco every week and often gets these money off vouchers whereas I never get them though I usually shop in Tesco every week too, except for the two five week periods I'm away on holiday. No logic.
