I needed a dress for my brothers wedding in august so nipped into Debenhams sale....and found the dress of my dreams in a size 10 :j and reduced from £140 to £42 :beer: and it looks divine on! Hi all, I really need to start posting on here to show myself that I am doing little things every day that will help me be debt free!
Ok, today I will:
Check internet banking
Pay £5.50 from piggybank into current account
Put the £5.50 off Barclaycard
Update spreadsheet with £5.50
Get my first Graze box (sounds like it's not DFW but it will keep me out the chocolate box - a far more expensive and unhealthy habit!!
)
Charge my phone at work
Get OH to phone student loans and kick their !!! for assessing us wrongly AGAIN
Carry on switching off the shower and extractor fan when not showering!
Take lunch from home with lovely homeade bread
Start a new batch of homebrew
Think that's all today. I am still getting VERY excited about payday a week today. Will take me out of the red for the first time since I had my student loan! (for all of 5 mins. lol). Pluss will be able to pay our friend what we owe him, AND close another £200 off overdraft. Meep!! Is it wrong to be so excited?:oLBM 11/06/2010: DFD 30/04/2013Total repaid: £10,490.310 -

Hello everyone,
So I'm trying to get back on track whilst not posting so much that I feel like I have no time for myself, so apologies if I start becoming a bit brief but I think the week or so off actually did me some good in some ways!
DNMS - Enjoy your trip to Holland, where abouts are you staying?
Stitchy - Sorry the home/work situations still aren't brill, on the bright side you have done some amazing debtbusting there!!! If you keep that up, it won't be long until you can get your own place at least.
NTBY - Ooh when did this happen?! Really happy you're happy though
Cleosmum - Congrats on the bargain & the weight loss, what's your secret?
Hugs to those that need them, esp you Ziggy, chin up my dear!

One question what does dinner from stores mean?
Simply that you won't be buying anything specifically for that day's meals. For example today's dinner will be chilli and rice and all the ingredients are in the fridge/larder already.
Someone else could probably explain it better than I can!Making magic with fabricLight travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.0 -
