Monday 18th July 2011 What small DFW things will you do today????
Candy0107

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym. :money:
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
Morining All,
I hope you don’t mind me starting the thread today – up and ready for work early
Hi to all new members and regular folk
Monday already – where did the weekend go? Anyhow, can’t lie in bed anymore, need to get motivated otherwise I won’t go to work!
Today I have/will:
• Meals from stores
• NSD – no pennies in the purse and £3 in my bank account
• Used rail pass to get to work
• Pick up a newspaper at the train station
• Read newspapers online
• Watched a couple of things on the sky box
• Checked online banking
• Do online comps
• Fill in my food diary
• Drink plenty of water
• Take meds to sort out hormones
• Have an early night – need to catch up on some sleep
• Keep a watch on my auction – 6 people watching my car at the moment
• Spruce up my nails at some point today
Think that is about it – I am sure there will be things I have forgotten.
Have a fabby one!

Morning!
Thanks for starting us off Candy!
It's a rather miserable monday out here and I was extremely tempted to stay under the duvet and call in sick rather than get up early to 60 miles to go to a course (I am actually unwell, but probably not unwell enough to justify it!)...must keep reminding myself that I will be applying for new jobs soon and want to be able to say 0 sick days on aps!
My list for today:
-drive carefully and try to make the illusive 'profit' on mileage that HMRC claim I make
-lunch and snacks at work
-supper from stores
-check online banking
-small shop this evening
And I think that's about all I can find the motivation for at the moment!
Hope you all have a great day xCommon sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0 -

Morning all. I'm struggling with a migraine this morning so I'm going to call in sick and go back to bed for a couple of hours.
So far today:- ran DW overnight on Economy 7
- fed and watered the chickens
- checked for surveys
- checked banking
- sleep off this migraine without resorting to expensive drugs
- get into sewing room and finish two corsets and a repair order
- keep checking for surveys during the day
- update the '101 Things' thread
- all meals and snacks from stores
- have an NSD
But the great news - I calculated my current debt level last night. Total debt on 01.01.09 was £18,131.45, debt on 17.07.11 was £4600.51. I've paid off almost £13,713 so far :j:j

Morning Guys!
Hope you are all well and had lovely weekends? I had a great one, and didn't spend too much money! I overslept this morning, so I decided to WFH, which means 2 things, 1 I'll achieve a lot more, and 2 I'll spend a lot less!

- hoping for NSD (unless Avon gets delivered)
- breakfast, lunch and tea from stores

- list 3 pairs of shoes on ebay tonight
- make a start sorting out the craft/guitar room so I don't have to do it all on Friday
- have a look at free books on amazon for my kindle
- read threads here to keep motivated
Think that is everything for now!Clicking, searching and surveying my way to a life of debt freedom!
