Hi.I have just bought a used iphone 4 from a friend which is locked to t-mobile.I want to use it with Giffgaff but how easy is it to get unlocked?.Do they only unlock if you bought it from them or to anyone?.

It is probably different for iP. Ask your friend to call.

It is very very easy to get it factory unlocked. Mine was bought of ebay and locked to orange. I contacted orange and they told me i had to wait 3 months !!

I bought this off ebay gave the seller my imei, and it was unlocked in a couple of hours. It is a proper unlock the same as the network do, none of that jailbreaking stuff.
