LOL, PIPA is just a hype from a private company to make themselves a lot of money, they offer nothing the standard test doesn't already cover. I only brought it up as if it didn't pass the test (not that it would with that rip anyway) it might be something else to use against them!Everyones opinion is the most important.....no wonder nothing is ever agreed on.0

He says the problem is that Pineapple have stitched on a 'strengthening' patch above the door (not shown on their web photo) and in his opinion it has been over stitched thereby weakening the material where the split started!
This guy knows Pineapple and has said no way will Pineapple agree with this and when I mention his name they will dismiss it saying what does he know!
On the plus side he said he can and will repair for £40.
For your info and slightly different, if you have a look on the BIHA forum you will see a post I have just made about Pineapple Dome's, my original Dome is due it's first test and have been told it will not and never would have passed.
I can see me and Pineapple in a lengthy battle!!
Thanks again for info and advice

Well its not good news but atleast you are getting sorted and cheaper atleast this time it should be done properly lol.
As for the unit not passing the test if it was supplied with a test and the RPII inspector is happy to back up his claim in writing I would get in touch with trading standards and maybe even HSE.
I'd love to see the response but i'm not a member of the BIHA forum as its for paid members only, and that will never happen lolEveryones opinion is the most important.....no wonder nothing is ever agreed on.0 -
