Think about Orange's travellers bundle another way. Most UK bundles include 500mb or 750mb per month which equates to between 16.6mb and 25.0mb per day every day. Therefore Oranges 10mb bundle gives you less for your whole holiday than you get in the UK for a day. Or to put it another way on a weeks holiday the Orange bundle gives you an average of 1.4mb (one point four) per day which is less than 1/10th of what a UK bundle gives you.IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.

Want to burn cash? Use roaming abroad!
I travel to the US about 8-10 times a year, Middle East 3-4 times a year, Europe 3-4 times and holiday a couple of times abroad at various destinations.
I have the same M.O. everytime. Switch my data roaming off, cancel voicemail before leaving and direct to a voice to email account (soho66.co.uk) and just use my Iphone 4 to receive texts. Texts that come through I respond to using a local (disposable if I'm not going back soon) sim that I buy locally (travel with a sim free cheapo phone). Any calls that come through that I want to speak to I use a local calling card (free 800 access in US from mobiles) to call back for pennies a minute.
Use wifi to listen to the email to voice notifications that come through from Soho66 (using earphones if you dont want the world to hear).
That's how to avoid expensive roaming and keep the money inyourpocketnottheirs!Don't lie, thieve, cheat or steal. The Government do not like the competition.

There is another thread on the same theme going on this forum.
Basically, Orange are probably the most expensive network for roaming internet.
The maximum overseas bundle that Orange do when you are outside Europe is 50mb data for £52. they then charge £8 per mb when you use more. They don't seem to have moved with the times and brought out decent international bundles.
With Vodafone, for example, you get 25mb data per day overseas for £5 per day with an excess of £3 per mb.
There has been enough publicity about overseas internet charging and abundant advice about switching roaming off when going overseas. But there does not seem to be a product that removes the superglue that seems to stick some people's hands to their mobiles or anything that prompts them to ask " How much data am I using each month and what would that cost me if I use the same overseas?"
Simple equation. You probably get 500mb data per month on Orange contract on your £25 - £35 contract. Using Orange's overseas charges - on their web site - that would cost £2000 if I used that amount when in Turkey. 5 minutes pre-holiday research would have saved you £000's.0
