The results from washing my sheepskin coat are a success.
Put it in the washer on 20 degree wash for 45 mins.
Dried it in the dryer and it's as good as new.
Thankyou for the advice0 -

Ok, new on this site and I been doing some reading and researching here. But I need some serious advice or help.
My sister gave me a old type ww2 bomber jacket, leather, sheep skin/fur , and the biggest problem baby blue fur !
What the heck is that?
Who came out with the idea of coloring the fur baby blue?
She knew that blue is my favorite color and the jacket is a favorite of mine and me just getting retired from the military service she thought it was a great gift but I look at it and. .........
I need help to either remove the blue color or recolor the fur.
Is there a way to do it?
Please let me know.
Thanks

Great to hear about your success with washing the sheepskin coat FMarguerita; thank you for posting the details. Please can I ask if you used any detergent and if so what? Or did you just run the wash without?
Thanks in advance.0 -
Hi guys,
My lovely sheepskin coat has been hanging in my wardrobe for a few weeks and when I took it out to wear it this weekend I noticed there two small dark, hard patches on the suede. One is a very small dot, the other is about the size of a 5p coin and the suede is stiff. I don't understand how they got there - maybe it could be a damp problem? Any ideas as to how this happened and what I can do to fix it before I contact a specialist cleaner? They are right on the front of the coat, I am so upset! I moved it from the hallway to the wardrobe specifically so that it wouldn't get damaged.. Oh and I have tried cleaning it with a suede spray cleaner and it had no effect. Please help!0
