Oust Odour Eliminator

Four days ago we had a couple of plasterers from a local company working in our house. I left for the school run, did the food shopping, and as soon as I re-entered the house I could smell cigarette smoke. Really dense, pungent smoke. The kind of smell that hits your nose then your stomach!

Bitting back huge annoyance, I politely asked them to please not smoke in the house. They were apologetic. And kept to their word.

Many of the sprays or pots of gel I tried made me sneeze non-stop and/or my eyes water. Plus they did little to eradicate the lingering smell.

A friend whose husband smokes recommended Oust. While the spray has a slight scent, that quickly disperses. And so do the offending smells!

No allergic reactions and it did the job it was supposed to do. I was impressed.:)

Unfortunately, it doesn't work on the stench caused by the cats using the litter tray!

Neutradol works on this for me.

Best tip I ever had was to leave a saucer of vinegar in the room that smells of smoke.

It does make the room smell of vinegar, but once you open the doors and windows the vinegar smell goes, taking the smoke smell with it.

A good, cheap smell removal method is to strike a couple of matches in the affected room.

Leave a bowl of vinegar out and a few cut lemons over night and then, open the windows and get the fresh air through. Throw away the vinegar and the lemons.:rotfl:

Then, I would have a spray around the curtains with Febreeze.

;) Felines are my favourite ;)

It doesn't work in getting rid of a lot of annoying smells!
No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!
