HSBC is great! I can transfer money straight from my current account to the Mortgage at anytime of the day.

The amount of Penny payments I make is a little embarrasing though! :rotfl:

We can ! When we log onto barclays on line banking we can see daily balance, and we are able to make overpayments online using "service my mortgage" from our current account. The payment hits the account immediately ...... Am unable to view history of account/recent payments but can definitely view balance.

We have been able to do this since mortgage started end of 2010 ! It's a fixed repayment mortgage.

I too have a Woolwich fixed rate mortgage but cannot view online, I have asked for this facility to be included but I am still waiting. from Q & A on Barclays - Contact us,

What accounts should I see on my Online Banking At a Glance screen?

If you're a personal customer, your Online Banking homepage shows all your main accounts with us and their balances.
If you have an Offset Mortgage or a Woolwich Flexible Mortgage bought via Barclays, these accounts will also be shown. There are some exceptions.

Yep, I'm with C&G and can't view it on-line, I've been asking them for 4 years and they keep saying they are looking into it and whenever they send me a survey I always add this function to my comments

    ATT

Same here wit C&G, fair few years I've asked them why they don't etc and the same result.

Just for the Op's info, Intelligent Finance don't offer mortgages anymore to new customers.

HSBC does. We make mortgage overpayments by transferring money between online accounts.

We do the same - it's great, isn't it? I called to make our first OP and to find out the process and was amazed that I could just do a transfer between accounts. :)

And be default OPs keep your standard repayment the same and therefore reduce the term. Happy days. :D

If you have a lowish LTV then HSBC do some very good lifetime tracker rates. We have one, giving us a very low rate currently along with no tie-in period or limit on OPs, right from the start. Had it for a year and have OP'd about £20k so far.
