I am with Nationwide and I make payments into my mortgage from my nationwide current account online. Very very handy. I can check in every day and see my balance. :)

Although Woolwich/Barclays doesn't have an online facitilty to view your mortgage, they do have a 24 hour automated freephone number for balance enquiries. They also have the WORST customer service I have ever encountered in any situation in my life!! And I have the hamper apology here to prove it! :rotfl:

We can ! When we log onto barclays on line banking we can see daily balance, and we are able to make overpayments online using "service my mortgage" from our current account. The payment hits the account immediately ...... Am unable to view history of account/recent payments but can definitely view balance.

We have been able to do this since mortgage started end of 2010 ! It's a fixed repayment mortgage.

I am with FD, but repayment mortgage so cannot see mortgage online. Was a bit disappointed when found out as assumed all FD mortgages were visible online. However, I called them up and they now send me a monthly paper statement for free - receiving the latest statement is now one of the highlights of my month :D:o!

Santander - not much different to a credit card statement.

Full running statement, ability to increase monthly payments, decrease monthly payments, take payment holidays, drawdown cash, make payments from other accounts etc etc.

I'm with Natwest, can see my mortgage online (just like it is any other current/savings account) now I have switched to an offset mortgage.

They do not offer this facility for 'standard' mortgages, which always frustrated me before I changed products, especially as mortgage statements only arrive once a year and their telephone banking mortgage division aren't very helpful!

We're with Britannia and can't see our mortgage balance online. Co-op/Britannia do seem to be a bit behind with online banking as we find their site quite basic for dealing with our current account.

I normally ring them once each month to check the balance is the same as my spreadsheet after overpaying. I have previously asked why you can't access it online and they normally say that I wouldn't have the pleasure in speaking to them on the phone otherwise :)
