Orange SanFran keeps vibrating, wont switch on??

got my orange SF on charge, went to light up the screen to see if any messages (you quickly press the on/off button on top of it), and it virated in bursts til i let go of it. Tried again, the same happened?? :(

Powered off, removed battery for few mins, back in, switched on, booted up, the battery indicator showed 1% (it had 17% when i checked it few minutes earlier) now its shut itself down?

Any ideas please?

Chances are it isn't holding charge, for whatever reason. Vibration and a red lit symbol on the bottom right button generally indicates a lack of charge.

I have a few quesitons before I give any advice. Have you rooted it and flashed a ROM to it? If you haven't got a clue what I am on about then the answer is 'No'. If you have flashed a ROM onto it can you tell me what ROM you are using, which android version is runs on (2.1/2.2/2.3) and if it is a GEN1 or GEN2. (If you bought it from Orange directly then it will most certainly be GEN1, but if you used one of a number of certain ROMs then it might be GEN2 now.

I am a member of the modaco forum that the user above recommended. If I can't help you then they certainly can.
