in Water bills
My water bill has been estimated at more than double what it actually is. Anglian Water estimated £100 were it should be £45 for what I have actually used.
Question is, will the rates be rising between now and the next bill, should I pay £100 now or phone the actual reading in?

Depends on whether you would rather keep the money and have the use of it, or give it to TW for free.Truth always poses doubts & questions. Only lies are 100% believable, because they don't need to justify reality. - Carlos Ruiz Zafon, The Labyrinth of the Spirits0

Rates go up every April so it is up to you, if you can afford to have that amount sitting in your water account then go for it, if it were me I would ring them,get the readings updated and pay the revised bill..But then that is only little old broke me.There is a race of men that don't fit in; A race that can't stand still;

If rates will only ever go up in April I'll phone it in as I won't save anything. I just thought if it was likely to rise between now and the next bill I'd pay it off.
