I would have paid you for it!!
To be fair, by the time we spotted it, it was past travelling any distance. I know it's hard to overlook something white and about 35cm in diameter, but we did!lostinrates wrote: »6 is VERY young to lose a golden retreiver.
Ferrets are the same. Jills must have kits and hobs shouldn't be spayed, though they honk if they're not. It's a minefield!
Edit: We have just taken delivery of a coc kerel! That should please the neighbours.0 -

Yup, but I think she'd have gone longer and avoided the 'female trouble' if she'd had pups. Sadly, that wasn't an option, and anyway, we didn't know that then.

fwiw, you have pups and you open your b1tch up to a whole other possibility of female cancers.
IMO its fairer with dogs of both sexes to nueter if they're not going to be used. We have the big-dog being done as soon as we can sort out dates (can't remember when last season was so have to wait till after next one, then book for 12 weeks time:o). We delayed with her because she's had health problems as a young dog and seen quite enough of the vets, then also she is prone to being overweight, and spaying never helps with that. dog-dog's feminity lies in the balance of what we decide about her and pups. I'll be pleased when she is done though. Its not nice for them to be banished to the hard floor areas of the house and not be walked in public.0 -

Too true. I do like some mushrooms on toast while watching the mighty Tottingham however.
I loathe the smell, the taste is disgusting, and the texture revolts me. Apart from that, they're great....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

but you don't like chocolate either, right?
lots of people don't like things like aubergines which can have a similar texture.
I just love that sort of thing!0 -

It's absolutely boiling here in town - I'm wearing the thinnest of cotton summer dresses, sitting still, and I'm still hot.
OH is doing a week-long trial in Reading, and after a day in court, then cycling back from Paddington in a suit with a heavy bag, he looked warm.
I like aubergines, they aren't the same as fungi, to my mind.
I don't like mushrooms, chocolate (I don't really have a sweet tooth at all) or dodgy meat. "Dodgy" in this sense includes meat that's mixed up and squahsed together, such as burgers or sausages, unless I know who did the mixing and squashing. In fact, I only eat meat a few times a year, but I eat fish quite a bit. We don't eat seafood or pork, though....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
