  • Have been thinking some more about next years plans, a new thing I want to try is to either list all the freebies I get or keep tham all and make a big hamper with them (depending on expiry dates). I tend to get at least one thing a week I reckon, some of them are trial produts to test for surveys, some are freebies I send off for from the freebie board / facebook likes etc, some could be competition wins (here's hoping ;)), but all in all I think it does add up to quite a lot of stuff and would be interesting to track it :D

Hi BenBen just catching up for a longish break

With freebies, if it is a product to test, and it is something I usually use, wahing powder, toothpaste etc, what I do is put how much I normally spend on that product into my 'surveys ' account from my shopping budget. Wonder if you could do that into mortgage account?
Other freebies I add to present stash and reduce budget by how much it looks to be worth!!!!

Hoping to stick to the challenge this year!!

Thankyou Stressedmum, I did think about doing that but I end up with all sorts in my pressie cupboard that never gets given to anyone :o

So today ... I decided I'm too old for faffing round anymore, so told the ta that works in the cute guys department to ask him outright if he's single and if he asks why then to tell him that another ta is interested ... I gave her my mobile number too in case he wants it ... anyway, after stressing over it I then discovered he wasn't in today :(:( But then he did pop in at lunchtime (saw his car in the car park), but have no idea yet whether she saw him or was able to speak to him, so will have to wait until tomorrow to find out, am gonna be a nervous monkey tomorrow :D But I just thought theres no point doing the "just happened to be walking past" bit forever more, I need to bite the bullet and give it a go, get me ;)

No spends so far today but its ww tonight and I need some more snacks so will be buying stuff there. Its chucking it down with rain now so cant wait to get home from there and in a warm bath :)
