I was about to say walk around on tip toes. I am hopeless with high heels (almost typed high hells, which for me is appropriate!) and I've sort of given up wearing them. I had some sandal wedges last year that I fell over in and scraped my knee, when I was coming back from food shopping, I've just sold them on ebay lol.

I do have a couple of pairs of heels and some more wedges, the problem with me is I'm a size 3, so my feet are small enough. My wedges almost look like a triangle because even though it was a platform the width and the height are almost the same! Luckily it has a strap round the front or my feet might fall out of them!

I now know comfort when I'm clubbing is key since I go to rock clubs and dance all night and jump around lol. Can't do that in heels!

Managed to walk in them for 5 minutes in the house - so progress! The balls of my feet hurt (I'm a hefty lady) but the gel things will help, eventually.

Actually found a pair of shoes at the bottom of my wardrobe with 2" heels and wore them all day.

The thought of pink and shiny shoes with a bow on the front is keeping me going... can't wait to feel all girlie again.

    :T

Flipping heck - only got them on Friday and they're in the sale! Could I return them (DSR) and re-order them at the cheaper price? Would be very MSE! :o

    Are you overweight?

Don't want to be rude. I have lived in heels for 20 years. I had an op last year and went from a size 10 to a 14 and couldn't manage heels at all as the weight balance was all wrong?

i`m a chunky monkey and have no problems with heels at all, but if i hadnt of worn them for over 20 years i would, they should be okay for a all night thing as they have a thick heel

if there in your size online i would totally take them back and order them online but i`m tight :D lol
  • I wear heel a lot and very high heels as well, find that the gel things are good but have recently discivered the momroy foam insoles cut down to ball of foot only are even better. Might be worth a try.

Good luck and keep persevering add on an extra few minutes every day and you will be fine.
