Couldn't read and run. OP, if you feel you can't talk to anyone close to you please consider going for counselling or contact a support group. Eating disorders can be isolating but by seeking help you'll realise you're not in your own.
B&T: from personal experience, eating disorders can develop over a long period of time to the point you don't realise what you doing is abnormal. It's often only identified when others pick up on it.0 -
yes the weight is a problem which is y i need the surgery0

You have to sort out your relationship with food if you're planning a gastric band/bypass. You absolutely won't be able to eat normally afterwards, never mind binge eating. You'd make yourself extremely ill if you tried that.I was born too late, into a world that doesn't care
Oh I wish I was a punk rocker with flowers in my hair0 -
It's often identified when the binger keeps on having to buy larger and larger-sized clothing. If that's not a signal that something is horribly awry I don't know what is.
Still, a solution has been offered to the OP and I think that she should accept it. There's no magic-wand which will make all this go away without some effort.0 -
OP, now that you know that you have the disorder and having accepted this to be true...well you have taken a massive step forward hun so well done you. Even more importantly you are now looking around and asking for help. Even bigger step forward.
Your best help will be professional - as Poly 1 said, B-eat sounds like a good first port of call. Did you doctor make any suggestions?0 -
You could be suffering from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. It's a minor mental ailment. Don't hesitate, speak to your GP about it. Do you show signs of any other obsessive behaviours? That would kind of confirm it.0

Yes, they did. The doctor has suggested counselling which the OP doesn't want to do. I have a feeling that the OP might be hoping for a quick-fix but there really is no such thing.0 -
yer the doctor has started the ball rolling for councilling in which i waiting to hear but im not really the best person to talk about things as i always bottle things up all the time0
-
You mustn't bottle anything up with a counsellor. You do want to get better don't you?0
