I am trying to send a song to a friends mobile. Can't bluetooth it because they are miles away. There phone doesnt have internet access. I tried sending it as an attachment in a message but the file was too big so wouldnt send. Looked on the internet and a there are a few sites to send music but the recipient has to download it from link using internet which they dont have.
Any suggestions please.

I'm not sure if you can do this for legal reasons. I think its called "file sharing" and its seen as not legal or music theft- yes you paid for it, but your friends did not. If you want them to hear it this is a different matter, if you wrote and produced the song yourself, this is a different matter. If its a well known track, you could always send them a youtube link?0

Thanks for the info. Sadly I cant even send the u tube link cos they dont have internet. Will have to abandon the idea i think.0

Ah- that would probably explain it! If they've got no net access, they wont be able to receive emails let alone anything to download
Other way could be to save it to a memory card, then put the memory card into their phone. This would be assuming their handset has the capability to use MP3 tracks as not all do.0 -
But can their phone connect to their pc? In which case email it then they can download it to the desktop and onto the phone from there0

So the MP3 track, if it were able to be sent (not sure about this) would need to be from one email account to the other. If the other person is able to get that email, upload the MP3 onto their computer the job of the sender (the OP?) is done, as you suggest here.
Next would be tranfering that MP3 to a mobile. The mobile would need to be able to accept MP3 tracks onto it, I'd question a mobile being able to take MP3 tracks yet not being internet compatable, this would be a huge selling error on the part of the mobile and I doubt a mobile company would want to miss out on this.
Having said that I am not an expert and if such a mobile exists it could be something to try. Many MP3 tracks tend to have sone form of protection on them though to prevent file sharing.0 -

Data can be as much as £4 a MB if there is no data on the contract...0 -

I'll second that. But as the cheapest memory stick I can find is £4.49 (at 7dayshop) it's got to be cheaper to just burn a CD and post that.0
