Spent the day with my head shoved down the loo. Have now eradicated all traces of limescale. Tis not my prefered way to spend a day. Did three loads of washing, resealed the leaky bath and generally tidied. Again.
Managed not to spend any money at all.

Oh the joys. Me and the kiddies have all had horrible lingering colds for the same reason. Feel better soon xI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Feel marginally more human this morning which is just as well because I'm spending the morning at an outdoor pursuits centre with a coachload of sleep deprive children. After that I've promised to reattach a couple of loose bricks to a neighbours step and then I'll start baking ready for tomorrows country market and the all weekend one at a local National Trust property. Need to whip up a vast array of varied things in super quick time all of which have to be apple themed. Tis an excuse to experiment with a couple of recipes.
Have almost finished knitting my next owl. Should have that ready to post by Monday. Enlisted the help of my personal shopper to obtain cotton yarn for a baby hat as a gift for someone at work.... will eventually need to whip up five. They're all up the duff. Also need to come up with a wedding gift for Easter as well as crack on with Christmas gifts since I have three weeks left to sort out the outlaws and their offspring. Still have jars to label and could really do with lobbing some apples in the slow cooker so that they're stewed by the time I get home.
Its shaping up to be a very busy day.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
Residential centre duly visited. Stayed long enough for a free breakfast then delivered my package to its parents, stayed for coffee and cake... well it seemed a shame not to. Finally made it to work at 10:30. Changed two broom heads before leaving. Thats the sort of day I could get to like. Shed loads of baking done. Just waiting for the final cakes to cook but they're being a bit stubborn.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500

I can't believe its not butter is less well known for its use as a canine laxative. Poxy chuffing kids forgot to clear the table before departing for the evenings activities. The four legged fiend clearly couldn't resist and has scoffed everything that was in the tub. It seems to work rather rapidly.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500

:eek::eek: to the laxative effect of can't beleive it isn't butter. and the size of the dog, that must have been horrible. i take it you can't prevail on them to help clean up as a consquence?
sounds like a very busy day indeed.
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

The hound from hell seems no worse for her stolen snack. Hopefully it will stop her stealing from the table. I fear thats a bit optomistic though. Its obviously far too tempting when the stuff in question is level with your nose and eyes.
Have finally finished packaging up yesterdays baking. Not overly impressed. Think in total I've spent five hours cooking, decorating, labelling and clearing up which has resulted in goods priced at £22. Assuming everything sells the profit on that is around £14. Don't think its something I'll be attemting to cram in on a weekly basis. Its far too much hassle for something thats been a bit of a chore. i daresay it would be different if I'd enjoyed it. But I haven't. It has cleared an awful lot of part bags out of the cupboard though meaning I could finally put last weeks shopping away.
In more surprising news I've sold another text book on Amazon. and have booked a hair cut, the incentive being a reminder from the DVLA that the expiration of my photocard is imminent. Finally got around to trying on the many recent clothing purchases from Mr Ts most of which are boomerangs. Found a pair of leggings which are a fab colour and fit perfectly but with a great big hole in them where someone forgot to sew the seam together. Three other pairs from the same range in the same size are so darn tight that I can't get them over my thighs which means I need to return them for an adult 14-16 which is quite funny given that the other two pairs (a kids age 13-14) fit perfectly. Since when is any 13 year old the same size as a size 16 adult? Tis barking. Still it cuts my clothing spends down considerably because the kids leggings were vat free and £4 for 2 pairs. The less said about the clingy size 10 top which was reminiscent of a strait jacket the better.
Plans for today involve being in three places at one. Boxing up yesterdays baking, labelling up the jars which I didn't get round to during the week, locating the invoice pad and writing invoices and more baking .... bah.... its only fun when I'm doing it for us with the monkeys help.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
OH was a star and swapped his shift to take the DDs riding. This mornings market was dead, although what few customers there were seemed to be loaded. I sold a quarter of my jams and marmalades. Baking was considerably less successful and definately not to the standards of the ladies who bake. The table was covered in all manner of muted pastel shades and intricate designs so my blobs of barbie pink icing with smarties were voiced as being vulgar and offensive to the eyeball. Have had the error of my ways pointed out... several times.... that said they most vocal of the ladies then volunteered to take my leftovers to this afternoons market so they can't have been that awful.... either that or they want to criticise them further out of earshot. Am now in two minds about baking this afternoon, particularly because its gloriously sunny out.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500
