Listed more tat on flea bay. Currently up to 11 items. Whilst its a drop in the ocean it is stuff on its way out of the house.

Sold something via a forum which the purchaser is claiming she finally got round to paying for at the weekend after a two week wait. Theres no sign of it in my paypal account. Am anticipating that getting very interesting.

New cleaner seems to have settled in well, so well that shes asked if theres any chance of her staying on even on a flexible basis once the sick cleaner returns. Not that thats going to happen anytime soon as the invalid was spotted limping her way around the village. Its been a month since the op and shes still barely walking. Can't see her being back in a fortnight.

Plans for today involve much more cleaning, a trip to the farm store for animal chow and a heck of a lot of laundry now its finally stopped raining and I can get sheets on the line.

Am half way through DD2s jumper. Seems I need to get it finished by the beginning of May when the next Knit Along starts. This time its for a very girlie wrap done on teeny tiny needles in lace yarn with a halo. Have a feeling its going to be a nightmare to do. Its not at all me but I fancy trying lace knitting but need a kick up the bum with it because I fear it will take an eternity to do. Will make a great birthday gift for my step mother.... which is another reason to tackle it.

Have you tried a pumice stone

Its hard enough to remove the limestone but soft enough to not damage the porcelain

Ooh hadn't thought about that. I'm sure theres one in the house somewhere.

    Morning Moo!

Sorry haven't been around for a couple of days. I see you are, as always, manically busy.

I must get back and fleabay too. I've had a few days break, I hate listing, but need the money, any money. I'm having a problem with someone paying too, and it had to be one of the more expensive items. I've opened a case with fleabay themselves. They can chase it and refund my fees if necessary. Only drawback is, it was listed on the freelisting weekend, so it will cost me more to relist:(

Cheap cola is supposed to be good for cleaning toilets, never tried it myself. You could ask the question on the OS board, they know everything there.

cheap cola does work, but you have to be careful you don't leave it too long or else it stains.

Moo I saw this and thought it might help when you are having to do Welsh with DD's

I've never tried the coke thing. I know I've read about it somewhere though. Looks like it's the decent stuff, not the cheap you need to use.

Thanks for the e*bay info Igamogam. The case says that e*bay haven't had an answer from the buyer, so it's likely to go in my favour [I hope]

The weekend seems to be whizzing by in a whirr. Credit card bill arrived at a third of its usual size. Mostly because there wasn't a single food shop on it. It won't be that good next month because I've been splurging. £45 on diesel yesterday, should have put in 70 but the pump kept cutting out and wouldn't let me put more than 50ps worth in at a time. By £45 I was getting rather annoyed as were the motorists in the very very long queue behind me. Spent a further £11 on yarn for the wrap. Technically I spent £16.95 on yarn but it came with free postage. Had I just bought the wrap yarn I would have ended up paying £14.55. Vaguely MSE. But only vaguely. Much grovelling on Ravelry seems to have sorted out most of the bits of lace needed for the flowery bits.

Have renewed my landline contract and paid for a years worth of line rental upfront saving £60 and two months worth of package fees.

Ebay sales are hovering at around £60 with a couple of days to go. Sold one item elsewhere for a fiver and promptly blew £16 of gift vouchers on Amazon. I have a very itchy clicky finger. Don't think the weather is helping. Its too grotty to do anything outside and I'm bored of being stuck indoors. As a bonus DD2s jumper has reached the armpits.
