Charnwood Island or Franco Belge?

Hi.

I've decided to take the plunge and buy a multi fuel burning stove. I need a 5kw that has to be DEFRA approved as I live in a smokeless zone. I have been been looking for reviews for the: Charnwood Island 1 which has two doors. Have you any thoughts on this stove? It is quite expensive; ive been quoted £1190 is it worth the price?

I've would also like to know if any one has experience of using a Franco Belge Monford Elegance. I have looked on which stove etc but these stoves have not been reviewed. Many thanks for any advice you can give me before I spend too much money and regret it.
Ta!!

    Thanks Everywhere.

I must say the Franco Belge does look like a nice stove and has some good reviews, thanks for the link.

Couldn't find anything on the Island 1. Any idea which is the better stove? is there a reason why the Franco Belge is nearly 50% cheeper than the Charnwood?
I feel the more I learn the more I realise I don't know with these stoves.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Cant say owt about either model but we've just had a Charnwood Cove II fitted with boiler and absolutely love it to bits.

The build quality is fantastic and its sooooo easy to use / regulate the water temp / air intake.
