Yes, I'm planning to watch this. I like Ray Mears, although I can't help wondering if he still lives with his mum:rolleyes:0

Yep, Ray Mears is brilliant. Always looks as if he is having such a great time but is also always constantly learning new skills.
Looking forward to it.Humans only use around forty percent of their brains capacity. Imagine what we could achieve if we used the other seventy percent!0 -

Perhaps what Ray shows is the money saving value of growing a fw veg yourself. You can grow fresh herbs even if you live in a flat for next to nothing. You can freeze them or dry them to have on tap.
Fresh herbs really do improve your cooking though!:beer:0 -
on ray mears website the woodlore school of wilderness bushcraft he does some courses which look very interesting, i might be tempted to book one for the family they look great! much better for the kids than a 10 a penny hol to spain at least the kids will learn something useful :Tproper prior planning prevents !!!!!! poor performance!
Only when the last tree has died and the last river been poisoned and the last fish been caught will we realise we cannot eat moneyquote from an american indian.0 -
Hi, there are some other great schools around too, with, dare I say it, different prices! A quick shop around will help you find something close to home, with people you like the look of, for perhaps less money -
a look around the Wilderness Gathering website should give you some good quality leads to follow, or try Bearclaw Bushcraft, or Bison Bushcraft in search engines
hope that's useful!0
