hi sidler , glad you got the machines they are good value even if you don't get the cash back ,i left a cash back form on the open box in store but could not see that model number on the cash back form. did you see the ex display machines without boxes?, could be some value in them to sell on e bay but don't have the time.sent my cash back form off today i bought megamix 300 very pleased 280pound discontinued machine for 70 with the possibility of 40 cash back. cheers laser

Are these machines magimix etc the capsule/pod variety?

I wouldn't mind the Gaggia ones that produce the coffee shop style espressos

Yes - pod stylee, models m200 and m300. Go on ebay to see them..

you're right about the model list of the cashback form but i'm going to try sending off the form. no harm in trying

Had a look in House of Fraser Carlisle today. Looks like HoF continues to take the view that oop north, we're all made of money: £30 certainly featured in the pricing, but it was thirty quid off £300. Wunnderful, not!

Same down saaf! - my HOF had loads of Magimix and Gaggia, but all at 10% off - is the reduction applied at the till ?

no the magimix & krups boxes were marked up at 70 have you asked if they have any discontinued models ? in the range, looks like krups 893 0r 897 & megamix m300 are discontinued models that why they are reduced , if they have these models in stock ask them if they will do a price match with other hof store you can only try perhaps your store does n't know they are discontinued lines

Saw them today, but not after a pod one. Wanting a manual Gaggia and they went on the 24th.
