Tesco's quit Kit money off coupons inside

Did a little, but nice shop today.

Got 2 x Colgate plax and some other shopping.

Used 1x toiletries qk, 1x beauty qk & 2 x £1 plax, after BOGOF this gave me £1.62 off my other shopping! :j Not bad for a little shop!

Just need to get my paws on some of the new £2 off £8 vouchers now!

Well, yes if you are using one 'beauty' and one 'toiletries', as each coupon only works against a fiver spent....but you can use them both together if your product falls into both categories. It's knowing which ones ARE in both categories that's the hard bit!

Some shower creams, bubble baths, razors, toothpastes and toothbrushes seem to fall into both categories, but not all similar items do. If in doubt, hand over one of each £1.25 one for each fiver spent and see if they scan, maybe try the Colgate 40p ones as well (see my previous post when they worked without buying Colgate).

Just realised that I have not used any of my healthcare coupons. I know that this has probally been asked before but please can I have some suggestions. I probally dont need vitamins, stocked up at Boots. Could possibly get some Durex. I dont know what else I might use. I suppose what I need are things with a long shelf life.

What about tampons and towels, do they count and if so are any on BOGOF? I still have quite a collection from when they had a £1 coupon on them but thye are easy to stash

I'm fairly sure sanitary products are not H&B or Healthcare, I have failed to get coupons to scan with these in the past. Unless someone knows different?

How about:

Plasters, also spray-on plasters
Savlon or similar
Other stuff for your First Aid kit, or start a new kit to keep in your car
Cold & Flu remedies
Curaheat patches
Non-prescription medicines (e.g. Calpol, Nurofen)
'Nutrition' (slimfast type) health bars (think Welshy bought some)
Slimfast drinks (again!)

P.S. Does anyone know if stuff like bandages count, I expect they may do because plasters do? I need some for my First Aid kit.

I bought the Tesco brand sensitive toothpaste yesterday and used loads of the 40p colgate coupons! (1 coupon for each item) I didn't think they would go through but the did!:beer:

Hi, I'm new to the board and I've just come across 4 quit kit packs (no H&B)....I would just like someone to confirm if the following is right:-


**TIMOTEI (BOGOF) (4x1.65=660) use 1 QK toiletry + 1 QK Beauty, £6.60-£2.50 = £4.10 - £1.65 - £1.65 TOTAL = 80p

**COLGATE PLAX (BOGOF) (4x2.88=1152) use 2 QK toiletry + 2 QK Beauty, £11.52 - £5.00= £6.52 - 2.88 - 2.88 TOTAL = 76p
(WHAT ABOUT THE £1 off PLAX Coupons???)

I've just noted that the sanex although stated £2.48 and comes off at £2.48 is actually £1.97 on my receipt!

i only began last week and already have quite a stash of items that i have paid pennies for or were FREE!

actually got paid to take some of the products away

i only have quit kits too. it really does depend on which Sales Assistant you use as to how many vouchers they will take.

i think the offers you quoted would work fine, and yes, use the plax as well as the toiletry / beauty £1.25 coupons. heres an example of what i did on Saturday...

2x mens adidas body spray (2 for £2.90) = 2.90
2x plax bogof (2.88 each) = 2.88
2x colgate pumps bogof (2.28 each) = 2.28
4x sunsilk hair shampoo / conditioner bogof(1.98 each) = 3.56 (i got 4)
i also got an original source lavender and mint bath foam....reduced to 49p

saved 9.60 from bogofs,
meaning including the 49p bubble bath i would have spent £10.00 on these items.
then i used these coupons..

6x 1.25 coupons (3 beauty 3 toiletry)
2x 1.00 plax
2x 0.40 colgate.
the sales assistant tried one more 1.25 but till beeped and she gave it back.

this made coupon total of £10.30 meaning they paid me £30p to take the items


good luck and hope this is understandable!

you could of course, change any 2 of the hair or body spray items, for those of similar value, such as right guard sprays / timotei shampoo etc

I've just tried using a £1.00 plax voucher without buying any H&B stuff & it didn't scan. I never tried the 40p one.
His machine was being temperamentle though.

Off topic but on the upside my 300 point voucher when you buy a chart dvd scanned with the 97p ones. Also used a 150 point one when you buy 2. £18.00 for £1.94.
