I did two transactions today, could have done 1 and used a £2.50 h&b but didn't want to use too many.

Got 2 Colgate plax, used 2 x £1.00 off CP, 1 x £1.25 QK 1 x £1.25 QK. Bumped up the shopping with other bits and pieces! Very happy, as I got £1.62 off the rest of my shopping, for such a small transaction!

Second one, I got 2 Colgate pump toothpastes, used 2 x 40p and 1 x £1.25 QK 1 x £1.25 QK. SA said the 40p weren't working or one of the 1 x £1.25 QK So handed them back, so I used a listerine voucher instead. However, checking my receipt, all the vouchers DID come off! Very happy with that.

Also received two till spills, one for pampers and one for something, i can't remember.
Sorry if i'm sounding dim but what are 'till spills' ?
  • Hi, I know its cheeky to ask, but does any1 have any Quit Kit packs left? I'm only after the £1.25 beauty or £1.25 toiletries ones. I can swap for lots of £6 clothing ones(from QK), many people have used this off of thier shopping bills at Asda but I dont have an Asda to try. Thanx lots!!

    You don't sound dim! ;)

Till spits, are coupons that look like receipts which come out after your receipt, and they usually have extra points or money off your next shop.

There is a till spit/spill thread, which will probably explain it better than I can! :rotfl:

You can spend £20 on children's clothes and £30 on women's clothes in one transaction:
    Use £4 kids voucher
    £6 womens voucher
    £10 clothing voucher
    £6 QK voucher
    leaving £24 to pay.:j

Or add another £10 of clothing to your transaction to make a total of £60:
    Use £4 kids voucher
    £6 womens voucher
    £10 clothing voucher
    2x £6 QK voucher
    leaving £28 to pay.:T

yes the 6 quit kit clothing voucher works on the self scan tills at asda, It definatley DOES WORK. I however do not have a local asda.
coupon over here, coupon over there, every crack filled with coupons even down there
    (meaning under the buggy lol):D
  • my asda self scan has staff with beady eyes! they don't let you use coupons for more than ten percent of your spend, and as there's a 10 item limit on the checkout i'm unlikely to spend £60. i suppose i could buy a couple of coats and then return them saying they didn't fit :rotfl: but i think the staff would come over anyway when they saw that a £6 voucher had been used, and check it.

i spent the £30 and used the voucher but the trousers that cost me £15

between the cost and the voucher.

My store never ask about the coupons but if they do say,say you used some clucard ones that you've just received.
Go for it, I was scared at first.
