I definately havent got the brass neck to do the R&R, no way could i do that. Need some assertiveness classes, or someone in Dalkeith or Musselburgh on here who can show me how its done!!.

I have done R&R in both these shops although I am aware that these are small towns and I do get some funny looks! I prefer Dalkeith as its just that wee bit bigger. Its nice to see someone local on these boards, sometimes I think I am the only one, especially when it comes to using coupons although my sister has joined in recently!

Grrrrr, I hate it when you pick the perfect "Victim" and someone else takes over. I try and pretend I have forgotten something and need to go and get it but it is a bit hard when you have all your shopping on the belt, lol!

This has happened to me twice recently and the SA who took over would only take two coupons.

    yey! i did it!

    2x tresemme
    2x colgate pumps
    2x plax
    total £18.64

    saved £8.72 from bogofs

    then used
5x 1.25 mixture of beauty / toiletries coupons
    2x £1 plax
    2 40p colgate
    = £9.05 saved from coupons

meaning i got those free and also saved 33p on rest of my shopping :)

PLUS i got my 1st proper r&r today! - only £1.79 but still - very pleased:)

    wotsits mixed flavour 12 multipack
    - SEL was £1.44 and charged £1.79. she checked shelf and then just said 'err clare, can you give this lady £1.79 please' so i didn't even have to point at the policy sign - - double yey!

thanks to everyone who posts about these things, and a special thanks to the 2 kind souls who sent me the vouchers, as we has NONE in this area at all!

I did two transactions today, could have done 1 and used a £2.50 h&b but didn't want to use too many.

Got 2 Colgate plax, used 2 x £1.00 off CP, 1 x £1.25 QK 1 x £1.25 QK. Bumped up the shopping with other bits and pieces! Very happy, as I got £1.62 off the rest of my shopping, for such a small transaction!

Second one, I got 2 Colgate pump toothpastes, used 2 x 40p and 1 x £1.25 QK 1 x £1.25 QK. SA said the 40p weren't working or one of the 1 x £1.25 QK So handed them back, so I used a listerine voucher instead. However, checking my receipt, all the vouchers DID come off! Very happy with that.

Also received two till spills, one for pampers and one for something, i can't remember.

shame the springtime vouchers have run out or they would of been cheaper with that voucher too...I got a jumper and cardigan with the vouchers and have only had my black cardy a week and it is all bobbly...what are the jumpers like as I haven't worn mine yet...I am not happy with my cardy and would be gutted if I had paid £35 for it..anybody else had this problem...
  • yes - my black cashmere jumper is a state. i haven't tried using a de-bobbler yet though. using a combination of vouchers i think i got it free anyway, or using the vouchers meant it was free because i was buying pants and socks for the kids anyway - something like that. i'd be upset if i had actually paid for it!
