I noticed that in one of Leadhead's useful posts he mentioned that 'Colgate will only work on Colgate'.
Well ages ago on this thread I mentioned it also works on Sensodyne, haven't bought any since but it DEFINITELY worked. It also works on the smaller Colgates (not just the size stated on the coupon).
HTH someone, this thread moves so quickly it's hard to keep up!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Must have missed that one, (as he rushes out to see if Sensodyne is on bogof).
I did think it only worked on Colgate...........but was trying to say that it was item specific, and wouldnt work on say handwash.......but I stand corrected.Couponing....."every little hurts"

But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

Definately only "beauty" as I'd looked up the product online and specifically sorted out only beauty coupons (plus the others i was going to use) before going into the store.
The SA tried to scan all the coupons, the till beeped, he said i'd not spent enough, so I told him the suncream was a tenner each and therefore it should accept one per £5. He checked the till receipt (without seeing the BOGOF as it hadn't printed out that far yet on his printer) and tried to scan them again, and again the till beeped.
Once he'd done all the coupons (he happily took the £3.50 Mail book token, without questioning the fact that I'd not bought the book!) I gave him a pile of the 50 point coupons, as I'd expected at least 10 to scan. He scanned two and then the till beeped, he tried to scan another couple, but then I told him they were all the same and it wasn't worth trying the rest.
So all in all, a bit of a mystery unless this is programmed at store level, as I can't reconcile the acceptance of the two £2.50 coupons with the rejection of the others!!
I'm tempted to try exactly the same purchase at another store (this was a large Extra, BTW) to test that theory - I'm sure we'll make use of the suncream, what with all this global warming and all........
I think it has been noted before that it will only allow one of the 50 extra points coupons and sometimes the money off vouchers per item, so seeing as you only bought 2 expensive items, it would only take 2 of each type of coupon.Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together.0 -

Welshy that is quite some find. Are they in the same envelops as before? Tesco obviously have not had too many used from the first packs to be churning out a load more:rotfl:
