JackieG - enjoy your day oot!

    Morning All

Beautiful day here again but we are to get rain later. Washing in the machine so hopefully I can get it dried outside before the rain comes. DW on too but apart from that not much happening. May cut the grass later before the rain comes just to tidy it up after my day with the strimmer.

    Take care all. XX

    morning all

Up a bit later today as no work and DH and DS up early.......went back to sleep.

I can hear the recyclers emptying my bin-not so embarassing this week as OH and I have given up alcohol to lose weight. DH now down to 10st 9 so only a couple of pounds left.

Just experimented with the quick wash on my WM-very OS-hope it works!

Going to the gym later and then it will be freezer surprise for tea or probably quorn curry-I like quorn in curry and Lidl's apparently have it on offer atmo so I will stock up later. I like to put peppers and mushrooms with onions in our curry and use Patak's paste. Yum!

Have a good day out JackieG, hope the weather is lovely tomorrow Bitsy, glad you're all a bit better BB, hello to Monnogran, lovely family Jackie O, safe journey Donny-gal, hi sistercas, Moorhen, Molly41, Redruby, Camelot, Jannyannie, hope I haven't left anyone out! and all who cross and follow.

    Have a lovely day all.

Can I join in please? :)

I've been muddling along the past months trying to spend as little as poss....edit - trying to spend nothing as we have no spare cash to spend :o

Have been lurking on here but finally decided to take the plunge and start to post.

Not doing much today. Got work for few hours later on this evening so just going to potter around house - got loads to do here - have got a VAST mountain of laundry to put away (I'm not exagerating when I say there is more to put away than there is in the wardrobes!). Have got l/o over h/m lasagne to use for tonight so at least that is covered. Hoping for good weather so dd's can play in garden (aka out of the house) They've been on hols for couple of weeks already and I'm already tearing my hair out :p

Morning, gorgeous here but meant to rain later.I havent got much washing really, but can always find a bit so will do that in a mo.My day didnt really get off to a good start as I stood in something I didnt want to when out with my dog-eeeuw-in sandals (Sorry TMI:rotfl:) I was daydreaming tbh,but it was right in the middle of the path where people walk and children play.Lazy owners get on my nerves  Couldnt wait to get back and clean up properly.

I'm starting to think what clothes to take on our break to France-only taking hand luggage so its a bit of a squeeze.Got a tankini top from Pri****-took the other one back-I already have some black bottoms I can use, very MSE:DIts shoes I always find difficult as I want comfy for sightseeing, but they arent nice to go and have a meal out if I've got a dress on.I have just bought some Schollsandals in their sale but the leather is still a bit hard to wear all the time.Still there are a lot worse decisions to make in life at times.

Not going out today,so will do some gardening later after I've tidied round.DS2 bought some baby stuff off his cousin yesterday-its brand new,she decided not to use it when she moved back to her Mum & Dads as it didnt go with the room, but its lovely, all matching, bath, pictures ,mobile, cot stuff etc.so it was a bargain as she let him have it quite a bit cheaper than she had it advertised for. He'll have to pop down and pay her later, but in the meantime its all on the dining table.
    Right,better carry on-have good days all.x

    JackieO-you have a lovely thoughtful family :)
BB- poor you, hope you all get better quick.
    Molly- the painting sounds lovely
Sistercas- was looking at soapmaking videos on Youtube last night-must get going with it.:rotfl:at what the neighbours thought-when I walked to my nieces yesterday,I took a big pair of scissors to cut some of the nettles down on the path I take.I was happily chopping away as I walked when a woman with a buggy came round the bend, bet she thought I was a mad axe killer :o Mind you she did hope I'd done all the path by the time she walked back again :D I blame the council cutbacks :D

Lovely day today and as it looks like the best of the weekend I have stripped all the beds and have the bedding on the line.

Staff bbq tomorrow night so I am hoping that the rain stays off between 6.30pm and 11pm

Our contribution is a chocolate and raspberry cheesecake and a trifle which I will make this afternoon after scrubbing the kitchen because DH insisted on cooking brunch of ham, eggs and mushrooms which was nice but my hob is now greasy:(

JackieG have a lovely pamper day x

Lou I hope that you are doing ok smiley-hug002.gif

Did anyone catch Torchwood last night?
I think there might be just too much Americanisation of it now :(

    Welcome jasper and mannagran smiley-greet013.gif

Dinner tonight is honey and mustard chicken and salad

    Enjoy your days all x
