The Weston pier is great but you can spend a fortune there. When we went the karts and the Formula 1 simulator were both £5 a go. There are some 2p machines downstairs so it can be not too expensive if you can resist the expensive stuff.

Hengrove park in Bristol huge free park full of stuff to do, kids of all ages love it. Easily an afternoon or longer taken up,also right next too Cineworld, KFC, McDonalds, frankie and Bennys aswell.
Agree Puxton Park good.
Weston Woods good for letting off steam. Bristol Zoo is good, Longleat flippin expensive but good.
