Found a better deal on another network, But cancelling Orange...

Hiya

I've just found an amazing deal on T-Mobile and i'm coming up to my upgrade date on Orange. How could i cancel my Orange contract without paying the £58 i would have to pay to cancel Is there any way to get a discount on my ETF?

Any help would be great

No way unfortunately... Providers let you upgrade 3 months early on purpose... It gets you excited about a new phone monthes before you can cancel charge-free. As a result when you have 3 months left it is favourable to upgrade with your current provider. Have you checked to see if Orange can match the deal?

Erm tmobile and orange are now merged.

If you want to get out if the contract you can always do what I'm doing and that is transfer remaining contract to a friend/relative. I spoke to them tonight. Told me to call tomorrow with my friend. They will credit check her if all ok then transfer it to her name/address/bank so I no longer have it in my name. The only thing I forgot to ask was can I keep my number and can she keep hers. Darn!
