i was going to suggest benidorm might be your best bet if you wanted all inclusive but discounted it as i thought it would be more than 30 minutes away but i think you can catch a train or bus so this should keep your costs down as well. If you go on tripadviser or holidaytruths forums there's loads of Benidorm fans on there. I went for the day in april and had a lovely tapas lunch in the old town there but don't know it to be able to give any advice

I think you would enjoy the beaches and atmosphere of Santa Pola, not far at all from Alicante airport, and a really nice place to spend a holiday. I would really recommend it.

main must haves are all inclusive and within walking distance to the beach and some of the busier showbars. also must have a pool. budget is around £450 for 3 nights (thurs 1st sept to sun 4th sept). also we`d need a late check in as our flight doesn`t land until 11pm.

in short we want to chill by the pool then have a nose around in the afternoon and a good night out with some entertainment. preferably with bars that are open until 2-3 am.

For all inc have a look at Los Dalmatas (£440 Travel Republic). It is 1 min from the beach and 5 mins from the bars. Food is good. Pool may be quite busy at this time of year.
There is also the Regente (323.67 Expedia) which is a bit further back but still not far from the beach.
