There its £348.98 with delivery .thats if you dont have all the extras that you dont need, any programs you want, there are always free versions available.did see some where on there, that its a free upgrade to Vista. What you think ?

seems like a good deal, but is the other acer better? I don't know the difference between the processors so I don't know is turion is better than sempron.

what kind of gaming you thinking of? and what kinda budget do you have :)?

My OH plays strategy & simulation games (command & conquer etc) which require quite a lot of memory (I assume, as they play really slowly on our laptop). We're wanting something that can play these, but can also be used for the internet. Our budget is about £400 so not a lot to play with I'm afraid :o

  • Hi If you decide to buy for dell then google wizmark computers they have all the dell codes there. Be warned though Dell's Price's have gone up since december not down. I was lucky to buy last month and the laptops price has gone up by £80

Thanks. Found a deal on wizmark. I think I'll go for a dell inspiron, I know the celeron processors are pretty much old hat now but it seems I can't afford the newer ones. And the turion only comes with 512mb of ram, the celeron comes with a gig of ram so I won't have to buy more ram.
