When you click through a link on the Onecompare website, this webpage pops up:
Onecompare Christmas Bonus OfferIn the spirit of Christmas Onecompare is giving away a Nintendo Wii to every one of its customers who purchase a new pay monthly mobile phone and claiming it could not be simpler. Just enter the Order Reference Number provided to you by the retailer after you have placed your order, fill in your contact details and that’s it!
* Onecompare Reference Number OC
Retailer
* Retailer Order Reference Number
* Email Address
* First name
* Surname
* Address
* Town/City
* Post Code
Check this box if you would like Onecompare to contact you about other special offers available from Onecompare.
Fields marked with a * must be completed
Terms & Conditions:
All entries will be confirmed against order numbers given before entered into Prize Draw. Order confirmation may take up to and including 31 working days.For full terms and conditions please click here.
Now this seems good (especially as the offer links to 12 months free line rental on a 12 month contract!) but the T&C seem to indicate it is a 'prize draw'. However speaking as the lawyer that I am, the text on the main page is extremely clear and therefore I am quite tempted to go for this, even though I'd probably have to sue them to get my 'free nintendo wii'
Thoughts??

sounds good but there must be a catch0

yes there is a catch...............................................
only one person wil get the Wii. It is a prize draw0 -
It's definitely a prize draw even if the 'In the spirit of Christmas ...' text implies otherwise. I think that text is worded to be deliberately misleading.
If as a lawyer you believe that you are still entitled to a Wii based on the statement in that text then I would recommend going for it, even if you do have to sue them.
Given that onecompare earn approximately £30 for every pay monthly contract purchased through one of their affiliate links, it would be financial suicide to give everyone a Wii!
Cheers

I think the OP was referring to this part of the text "...Onecompare is giving away a Nintendo Wii to every one of its customers..."0
