Not seen a thread for this.
it is day two of three. I wasn't able to get into the site.
Is it just a gimmick or worth persevering? I want to buy Euros so should I try tomorrow and pay by debit card and suffer the transaction fee or take a more leisurely approach? I don't travel for three weeks.

Only seems to be offering 1.58 which is disappointing. I'd held off to see what the rate was but there are other slightly better ones0

Can't get into the site either so I have no faith in a company who clearly haven't prepared themselves adequately.
If the travel money maximiser is up to date then their rate for US $ is pants anyway. It's $1.58 against fairfx at $1.60. No competition as far as I'm concerned. Just another time wasting gimmickNO FARMS = NO FOOD0 -
my fairfx euro card is still offering a better rate than the travelexe sale rate, so for purchases i can stick with that0

That is the key for me because I use cash machines abroad and FairFX charge and travelx don't.
Looking at the standard rate now it is only about 1.5c different. Not exactly much of a sale then.0 -
Used my FairFX dollar card this morning to order £750 worth
Got $1200. Just checked and its already down to $1180 now.0 -
does the site keep crashing for anybody else?0

can't even get in at mo...0

I got in for a brief moment,..
It was showing Euros for sale at 1.115 which if correct is a bit of a joke, since buying on a good credit card in an ATM at your destination will get you them for 1.130 -
I can get on, rate is 1.115, which doesn't seem that good to meEver stop to think and forget to start again?0
