krbs

Moneysaving expert quotes krbs as paying 4.25% for its 3-year investment bond, but the rate on krbs's website is 3.75%, and appears never to have been 4.25% What is going on?

Their fixed rates have been reduced by between 0.15% and 0.5% as from today see link here

The 3 year fix was 4.25% up to yesterday presumably and has now reduced by 0.5%.

No doubt MSE will be updating their list shortly.

Philanthropist is/was confusing the three year fixed rate savings account (was 3.75%, now 3.50%) and the three year fixed rate bond (was 4.25%, now 3.75%).

The fixed rate bonds are inflexible - no additions, no early closures; whilst the fixed rate savings accounts are more flexible - additions allowed, early closures subject to loss of interest. Your choice how flexible you want/need your investment to be.
