old worcester boiler

Hi I've just got the keys for a flat I've bought which has a 10 year old worcester boiler, 25-28si series according to the user instructions. Both heating and water come on fine but I can see that the pressure dial is reading below 1 bar. Trouble is I can't see how to top up the system , can't seem to find a proper manual online, and there is no sign of a key to insert as there was with my last one.
Can anyone give me a clue?

Thanks , NNH

Maybe they forgot to leave it behind? You can probably pick one up cheap on Ebay if they haven't left you one. Otherwise it might have an external filling loop below the boiler, that looks like a silver semi-flexible piece of pipe with a small black plastic handle at either end to open and close the valves.
  • Will look for a silver pipe, many thanks

Ask to see CIPHE (Chartered Institute of Plumbing & Heating Engineering)
  • Lgas, I found the filling loop under the sink and have successfully got the pressure back up so thanks again

Canucklehead, thanks to you too, that site has the manual
