The one thing Microsoft CAN do is widthdraw your access to Genuine Advantage. All this means is that you won't be able to install certain updates, or run some software.

I know what Microsoft can and cant do and I know what the Computer Misuse Act 1990 is. Microsoft will cut your support off. That would mean that bad hackers can get into your system. Want do you prefer Microsoft doing it or a bad hacker.

And by the way "Bad Hacker" is the right term here.
There are good hackers that will hack their own program(s).

The Software is licensed, not sold.

So by chaning the System 32 files you will be changing the software and Microsoft can sue.

Untrue im afraid, Microsoft have backdoors that are exploited and this is called hacking then Microsoft release patches known to me and you as updates and service packs and to the media backdoors are know as major issues :rolleyes:

Microsoft cannot legally stop a legal copy of an OS if used properly and we all do that and if we didnt they would know wouldnt they? No they wouldnt because that would be Invasion of Privacy and hacking by MS they can however stop illegal copies of an OS with a tool that you would of read the T&Cs of the usage of that tool and the policy that covers such a tool i.e WGA or Validation.

They can however stop an abusive ganer on XBox live by blocking the console from THEIR servers only after an investigation and a tab kept on said gamer.

OK, I'm warming to this Transformation Pack Does it affect your system speed/efficiency at all? my laptop's pretty quick as things are but startup is about 5 mins with the software on here, is this likely to slow it further?

Didn't make any difference to my pc make sure you install it in safe mode.Accept from the side bar witch is another start up item but you can delete that form msconfig or just don't install the side bar when it ask you.
