Netgear Wireless Problems

I have just connected a Netgear router to the main PC and it's working fine (following albertross's instructions!). I can't get the laptop to connect at all though even though it can 'see' the network. It tries for several attempts and then gives up.
Help please!

it is usually because the key on the router doesn't match the one on the laptop.. did you click apply at each stage when configuring the router?Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0

If you hook that laptop up using an ethernet cable, or use the other PC and go to http:\\192.168.0.1 you can check that the wpa key you are entering matches the one on the laptop.
If you come to the point that you are really stuck, then I could look at the router config remotely if you like.Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0 -
checked encryption and they look the same
The connection seems to drop in and out every so often... connects for a few seconds and then drops off. Any other ideas?Dopey by name, Dopey by nature
