I recently bought two separate PC2700 1gb modules second hand on ebay for £46 and £58 including p&p.
One module was brand new that someone had bought in error. The other came from a used laptop. Both work fine. It takes only a few minutes to install them on my Dell laptop.
These modules cost nearly £100 each new so I got them at about half price.
It does mean that I now have two x 256mb modules going spare that I will probably put on ebay soon.0 -
My memory from crucial arrived today - exceptionally fast! & works a treat, thanks albertross & OP
