    Yep Lottie is the new account. I have unticked everything you said and just moved the temp files over to her Lottie account so she can sort them out.
    Her computer is working nice and quick now and it was actually much worse than mine was!

    Thank you again and I promise I do not know anybody else with a knackered computer :p

    Would you believe, there are people in my local area who charge £60-70 to do what was freely advised from closed and scheming gypsy in this thread...

    See it just goes to show you are all much better people than me....... I am definitely going to milk a nights babysitting or two out of this :D just for being sooooo amazing with computers!!! it must just come naturally to me :p

    Seriously though I will be telling her about you magical people who fix things out of the goodness of your hearts. My dad was gutted when I told him because he has paid Dell over £100 twice now for them to take over his computer and fix bugs/malware or whatever when his computer crashed-what a rip off!
