ButterflyBrain glad its not just me buying and making Christmas pressies in July
Feeling much more positive today. With so much going on it can be a bit overwhelming but spoke to DH last night and once our visitors set off we are going all out for making and saving money for the big move to Oz next year. We are getting rid of my car and will just manage with the one used for work. It should save a fortune and it will do me good to get back to walking. I am also going to try and find some more income and get back to selling on ebay and Amazon. Just our initial thoughts but feel better knowing we are on the same page.
Tea tonight will be cooked by my DS so not sure what but it will be good. He is a fab cook and its just lovely having it made by someone else.
Lovely and blowy so off to get a wash on the line. Have a good Wednesday everyone J xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

That's what I'm trying to do - live in a hovel on 3p a week0 -
Good morning, lovely day up in North of Scotland for a change. Sunny skies and a breeze so will be pegging a wash out soon.
Dinner will be BBQ stuff from freezer if the weather holds.... I have quite a bit of stuff to work through in the freezer before I buy anymore so hopefully a cheap couple of weeks grocery shopping ahead.
Have a good day everyone x0 -
Good morning everyone
So far today I've been lazing in bed on my day off as ASBO neighbours partied through the night last night- I didn't appreciate the drunk man screaming his girlfriends name over and over at 3.30am but cest la vie!
Today I am planning to buy some meat ready to put my new food budgetting plan into action. After a budgetting fail this monthI have decided to bulk buy my meat at the start of the month on special offers (e.g. 2 for £5) and freeze it all and then buy no more for the month. We seem to end up popping into the shop for just 1 pack of stir fry meat or 1 pack of chicken breasts and it's such a waste!
As payday is Friday I'm going to go for a long walk because it's free and also, if I feel up to it, travel to uni to get some textbooks, if not then I'll start on my summer essays at home using my extensive selection of textbooks. I might do some more clearing out too
JackieO - School holidays with you sound great fun. I spent mine in school holiday clubs/summer camps and we never got to do stuff like that - I'm envious!
Adelight - what job do you do? It sounds right up my street!0 -
Morning All!
Bit behind today as I very wickedly didn't finish washing up the blender and saucepans etc used yesterday to make loads of spinach and pea soup for the freezer....spinach dries on really hard! Anyway, all away now and a sparkly kitchen once more! have also been to Curves. have been very bad about going lately, but have now written in times to go in my diary for the next fortnight. Maybe it'll work...
Have a load of washing whizzing round, so hopefully that'll dry outside once it's ready.
It's presentation evening tonight for the 2 year course I've just completed, so supper will be incredibly early as I'm being picked up at 6pm. Beans on toast for me I think. DH is at Rotary so won't be eating at home.
Hope you are all having a good day today. Take care.Resolution:

Afternoon all
Been really busy lately & missed lurking, never minding posting, on here. Hope you're all well, hugs & kisses if not!
Lots of (boring) problems with eldest DS, but everything else OK, DD moving into new house 15 mins walk from us, so may have another babysitter for littlies!
Most of what edible stuff I managed to plant this year has now been dug up by my youngest, only have garlic & brambles left - grr!
DS2 off on hol with GF next week, so going to blitz his room & sort out all the littlies' clothes ready for September - hope to sell the best ones through the paper or something.
Have a good afternoon, hope to pop back later.

Afternoon all
Been flying with the flyladies this morning as not working today-gosh it's close here for vacuuming but I was determined to do it as I didn't do it the other day. Just put a load of washing out and am sitting here on the computer for a bit of a rest!
Jackie O your family are very lucky to have you...
Bemused yes I too am trying to get to the gym a bit more. I am on the active thingy referred by the GP.
Greyqueen I hate buying clothes too(I am short and a bit round).
Redruby-feel better soon.
I would like to bag some of those £10 Travelodge rooms 6am tomorrow when the sale opens. Has anyone got any tips? Do you have to be online at 6.00 am ready for the sale to open?
Hugs and whatsits to all who need them
