in Water bills
Hi,
We moved house last November, and in our old place, our water was included in our rent, so we're new to this.
I've read alot of posts and nearly all of your yearly bills are £200+. Do you mean that is just for the water part, and not including the sewerage? Because our combined bill is £411.81 - £208.59 for water, and £203.22 for sewerage. We're with Anglian water and don't have a metre. Our monthly payments are £41.18.
Thanx,
Candy.

£411 pa for both water supply + sewerage sounds about right for a bill on rates.0

There is no answer for that one I am afraid..In my area that is high but in the next estate it would be low.
The RV was based on your property so can even be different from your neighbour.
You might be best to apply for a meter and see if that works out better for you and you have a year in which you can revert back to RV if it does not work better for you.There is a race of men that don't fit in; A race that can't stand still;
So they break the hearts of kith and kin, and roam the world at will.

I'm with Anglian Water and on a meter and I use about £240ish a year. There is only two of us and we're quite careful with water tbh and also get a discount due to having soakaways, so our surface water does not go into their drains. If you're only a small household and are careful with what you use then you might be better off with a meter. Always best to research first though as you don't want to change and end up paying more.0

Hi! How can I save water or payments from my water bill if my water tube has leak? I don't know how to fix or seal it so that water will not go over it. What are the materials I need? Should I call plumbing service?0
