Remembrance Table?

Hello Everyone
I was browsing on here through someone's wedding pictures (can't remember who's wedding it was) But I seen they had a remembrance table for those loved ones they have lost, it look lovely I thought.....
I thought oh I will do one of those, until a few people I have mentioned it to have said they think it is a bit morbid, freaky?
What do you think? Should I have one?
If anyone haves any pictures from their wedding and had one, then please can you post them on here as well, be nice to get a good idea of how other people had their's....
Thanks in advance x

Think its a lovely idea. Went to my cousins wedding and she lost her Dad when she was little and the groom had lost his Mum when he was young. They had their parents wedding photos placed in front of their wedding cake to include them both at the reception. Also during the service they both lit two candles in rememberence0

My daughter has had a candle made with a picture of her dad which will be on the top table in front of her. It will be discreet.
Personally, I don't like the table of photos idea, but each to their own!0 -
we had a rememberance table (which was also the table we used for signing of the register) - photos will only be left on for a few days tho xxx

We too had a photo in a really nice frame of OH's parents, with a candle lit during the ceremony and the wedding breakfast.
It isn't morbid, it is only natural that on such an important day in your life, there will be people you miss and wish to remember. Go for it, it's your wedding, so do what you (and OH) want! Have a lovely day.

Hi,
We had a black metal lantern with a tea light (fake due to venue restrictions) in side and a poem next to it in a frame -Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us everyday, unseen, but always near - still loved, still missed and very near.
This candle burns in memort of our family on this wedding day, bless us in spirit as we begin our
This candle burns in memory of our family on this wedding day, bless us in spirit as we begin our new lives together.
i personally didnt want to have photos of the people me and OH were 'remembering' because there was a bit of problem with OH's family (big fall outs, loss of people OH didnt know) - so just the message and the frame was best for us. plus it would have made me too unhappy seeing a photo of my dad everytime walked past the table, Everyone commeneted how lovely it was done though.:o
We had a photo montage going on a screen with all the photos of our relationship and from when we were younger which included the photos of my dad and OH grandad which were the two most important people we were missing on the day.
We did a family tree with a brance, tea lights and hung photos of our parents and grandparents wedding as well.
hope you find the best way for you to mark a part of rememberance for your loved ones.:heart2:Married my Prince Charming on 15th April 2011 - perfect day!
