    yes it is! I was so happy and didnt half feel a weight leap off my shoulders, its awful not knowing how i can get things that the kids really need :(

    hi there i renewed my tax credits in may still havent heard anything my pay went from £10545 to £3900 do you think i will get a lump sum if i was underpaid if so how much could i get please thanks

    Just a thought, with school uniform, why not get your school to get a second hand uniform stall running at school events like sports day? My school keep second hand uniform in school for anyone who asks about it. I donated a load of stuff that was in really good condition but grown out of and was just glad to see it go to a good home.

    Glad you found the cash to go shopping though. There are lots of sales about at the moment too - if you have any cash left it might be worth looking out for winter stuff.

    You say you missed the school uniform sale, but I am sure if you call and explain that at the time you were skint they may be able to arrange for you to go in another day...

    Also, it may be worth asking on Freecycle for uniform, as well as general clothing (even if it is a bit big now).
