You could also ring the travel agent and try and record the call if possible and notify them of this.
That way if the hotel isn't as described and you do visit you have proof that they told you that the hotel was fine when it wasn't.
Thanks I have tried calling and e mailing the hotel .
The main language is French and I got nowhere to be honest , likewise with the e mails .Who classifies the hotel as 5*?

Five stars tend to be awarded on the basis of facilities. That does not mean that the hotel has quality or a good position. The price is often a better guide to this.0

It seems that some of the rooms are lacking even the basics like hot water and air con .
I have just spoken to Broadway Travel who have advised me that they will offer me a different hotel but I will have to foot the bill for any difference in price .:mad:0 -

I had this once and the alternative was acutally slightly cheaper. It took a fair effort to make them see it was a two way street but eventually they did refund once I had got past the front of desk "manager says no" person.0 -
I have always found tripadvisor to be a good guide.
There is clearly a problem with this hotel as there are so many negative comments.
Absolutely mcc . The comments are in fact getting worse.
The hotel is in a mess and no one is taking responsibility.
Broadway Travel have next to hopeless staff who can't respond to my questions accept to say and I quote " people always put negatives on TA "
