Hey there Molly when all else fails.... cuddle a Westie!:D

I think you'll feel more settled in yourself when you get a reliable cleaner. Are you like me, ok as long as you know what to expect, but have a bit of a wobbly if the unexpected goes wrong?

Anyways, I'm glad DS is feeling a bit better, and that DD got on better than you'd thought with the Fang Farrier.:o

I've got Terrier Ted coming to stay again on 27th July - his humans are moving house, and it'll be less stressful for him to have a wee "holiday" while all the upheaval happens; so that'll be nice, cos he's a super litle chap.

I need to get back on top of Meal Planning - it's sort of gone by the board since our holiday; I must get back with it though, if only because I need Mr LW to prep veggies the night before if it's going to be something my paws can't cope with.:o I think it's going to be mushroom risotto tonight - I have some 'shrooms already prepped in the freezer, and I can just chuck everything into one pan.;)

I was amazed how hard it was to find Stardrops in MK - finally had to do a safari to the depths of unexplored Bletchley, to @sda - Mr LW took me there last night, bless him. I'd tried Tesco, Morries, Waitrose, plus 2 small hardware places in Stony Stratford and the market stall - nada! Still, I bought 2 bottles while I was in @sda, so should last me a while.:D

    Afternoon all!

Have skimmed the posts, back for lunch, cheque paid in, so glad they seem to clear in 2 days! Trying to decide if i should go up to scotland this weekend - my mum is travelling up on Friday, but i can't easily get the day off as we are short staffed.. plus with throwing up/flu like symptoms last week i feel like i need to be 100% before i go in as he's already got 1 infection, i don't want to add to it.

    So maybe the next weekend.

Had beans and scrambled egg for lunch, pup is still in a terrible mood so have made him his own mini plate to try and bribe him into being happier, doesn't seem to be working though!

    will check back later peeps

Could be that he's picking up on your stress/worry? Dogs are psychic that way. The other thing is, he might be feeling a bit bleurgghh due to the humid weather. (((HUG))) for the little chap.

Well we are a little more sorted now but I haven't managed too much in the way of cleaning. The good thing is that DS2 is now back in the land of the living and is eating chocolate - so all is ok with the world.

Thank you Lamewolf - I spend all day hugging a westie or two and they give me great comfort x

I agree with LW about your doggie Bramble. I too think he could be suffering from stress. They absolutely hate it when there is an argument or tension in the air. My Poppy goes and hides under the table whenever there is an argument and shakes. A good reason not to raise voices in my household!!!
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.

I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

    Afternoon all

Cloudy with sunny spells here today, bit close though, had banging headache most of day cos of it :(

Work kids worked well today, did education work in morning then orienteering this afternoon. They did well. Love orienteering as it means I get to sit in sun in peace and quiet for an hour :rotfl:.

I'm off out for dinner with parents and my nan tonight to their local pub, bit of a drive for me but I get a free meal :)

OS wise - DW been on, recycling needs to go out when I leave, need to make lunch for tomorrow but don't have time now so hopefully remember when i get home!

    Have a good evening all

Hi Chums been so busy today I took the boys to school then did all the ironing and then went to my craft class (DGD Katie did the afternoon school run for me)then popped to garage to top tank up Certainly better with diesel, first time I have topped up for a month .Then whipped round to eldest Dds to drop son-in-lawAshley's present off (his 45 th birthday tomorrow) and saw DGD Holly and she is buzzing as she has got her results from college and has got 'B's which gets her a guaranteed place in October for Uni so she is a happy bunny. Then back to youngets DDs for an hour so DGD Katie could go out with her boyfriend then eventually landed back at home by 6.45.p.m. and I'm doing nothing now for the rest of the evening.Tomorrow I will probably go with DD to buy some clothes for our holiday next month as she is off tomorrow, so at least I don't have to rush around first thing for the boys as she will do the school run.
Its all go in my life at the moment, I think I meet myself coming back IYSWIM :):) Still don't have time to get bored thats for sure.Right I'm off to rummage around for some dinner from the freezer then its feet up and t.v. for the evening I think
Hope everyone is O.K. Take care all

    Evening everyone

Had interview this morning and test, got a phone call this afternoon offering me the job. I am so excited, although I have no experience of working in a school giving support within a classroom, however I have personal experience with ds2 and working in a college advising on finance, careers etc. I should now be able to do a teaching assistant qualification.

os today was next to nothing apart from putting on dw and emptying it. oh and walking the dog. may not get much done tomorrow either got a meeting in the morning, work at lunchtime ( this is only my second day as a lunchtime assistant) and now I have to tell them I have another job. Any suggestions please.

HH - Glad your ds is ok after his op.
Molly - Glad your ds is okay too.

Head now cabbaged. Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take care.
