transfer part of cash isa?

I have a matured fixed rateISA with Halifax that has over £8000 in it. Its now in a low rate variable account

Can I split it up - for instance re-invest part of it with Halifax in a fixed rate and move some to another provider that allows transfers in? I want to hedge my bets in terms of length of investment for example have some of the money re-maturing in 2 years when rates may be better and some in a longer term fixed rate.
Thanks

Yes you can, except for the current years ISA which must be transferred in full.
Don't forget, the new provider will organise the transfer, you must not do it yourself.
