Fingernail in food at KFC

Hi,
I used a KFC drive through today and got home to find a horrible fingernail in my chips as I was eating them!
It's definitely come from within the restaurant, is there anything I can do about it other than go down there and have a shout at them?
Thanks

Did you go back to the KFC straight away after noticing it.
I found a bit of plastic in my KFC once and they refunded me the full cost, End of the matter for me.0 -
Wow, lucky, KFC is certainly moving up in the world!0

You could report them to the food standards agency to be investigated.
You should go back though and explain the situation, I doubt they would put up an argument in refunding and replacing (assuming you didn't wait too long before going back that is).0 -

I would report this to environmental health ... this shouldn't have happened leave the investigation to them and the finger nail plus inform KFC HO of the issue you have had0

Ye, but they can still report it. They would investigate the general standards within th restaurant. Although it probably just a one-off (hopefully).
so theyve eaten the food (which i presume op has ) yet they still go and complain about a nail ....!!!!!!Replies to posts are always welcome, If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. I had a similar thing happen, also with KFC. Found a hair actually embedded in the batter of a chicken piece indicating it got there in the factory process. I took it straight back and the manager refunded my full bill (including the two unaffected meals enjoyed by my parents). I was happy with that tbh. I just haven't eaten there since.0

If their adverts are anything to go on then it would seem that KFC bread their chicken in store so this is unlikely to have happened at the factory.0
