How would you rate the Nokia 6233
I noticed that Argos are doing these for half price now for only £99.99.
I thinking about getting either this or the W810i, now they've gone down to under £130.00
As i need it to work on Virgin, i have been told that a Virgin sim will work in a t-mobile phone?
I have used the W810i so i know what they're like, but can anyone give me some feedback on the 6233
Many thanx.

I was relieved since I knew Santa wouldn’t lie to me ...

It wont, the Virgin phone will be locked to Virgin, although they piggy back off the T-Mobile network, it wont work with a T-Mobile sim.RS2000 wrote:I have used the W810i so i know what they're like, but can anyone give me some feedback on the 6233

It's a nice phone, and works like any of the series 40 phones like the 6230i, the only caveat is to make sure you have the latest software version on it, you can check this by entering *#0000# on the keypad, v4.54 is the latest T-Mobile version. If it doesn't have this then it means a trip to a Nokia service centre to get it upgraded, this is free and takes 24hrs usually.

I have the 6233 on three. Its a good phone and if your into music on your handset it has quality sound through the in-built speakers. The battery isnt great though on mine and doesnt compare all that well with my older 6630 in that respect. It only manages about an hour of calls and some browsing/video streaming before the battery gives up. £100 is a good deal... I paid double that!0

Yes it will.
Piggy back virtual SP sims will always work in their providers locked phones, i.e. Virgin, Fresh, Easymobile in a T-Mobile and Tesco etc. in an O2.
But not vice versa. It is to do with the fact that the actual SP (not virtual) will still get an income from the virtual SP, but not the other way round.
PS before some pedant steps in, yes I'm aware Easymobile are no more, it was just used to help the example.0 -
