yes you were wronged - you know better now than to pay out for a man you love. a life lesson learned - I know it was a greater cost than financial, but, you are now older and wiser and wont fall for that again - will you?

    Morally unreasonable. Legally reasonable.

We all makes these mistakes to varying degrees and learn our lessons the hard way.

You're well shot of him. Small price to pay for realising sooner rather than later, and quite late enough it seems, what a prize chump he is (excuse my vocabulary but I don't want to test the swear filter.)

Were you going out with my brother?! Lol jks.

Seriously though I would chalk it up to life experience, pay it off and never lend money to a man again that you don't have in your hand (so no credit cards, overdrafts, etc to pay for their needs). I come from a family of !!!!less men and I've been waiting my whole life for my brother to wake up and do the right thing, he never has. They don't. Selfish !!!!less men stay selfish !!!!less men til the day they die in most cases and by funding them you facilitate their behaviour and enforce the idea it's acceptable. Be glad you got out before it's too late and you don't have kids with him!
